Parents Community at The Lilliput World

At The Lilliput World, we believe that education is most impactful when schools and families work hand in hand. That belief gave birth to the Parents Community, a platform founded on February 3, 2024, under the umbrella of Yayasan TCKN. This community was created not just as a support group, but as a movement — one that brings parents together in shared purpose: to grow, connect, learn, and support each other in becoming the best versions of themselves for their children.

The Parents Community welcomes all Lilliput parents and is designed to grow wider in the future. Through its vision and mission, this initiative offers emotional support, access to valuable parenting resources, spaces for learning, and opportunities for real collaboration with the school. It’s a safe and encouraging space where parents can share experiences, exchange insights, and explore creative ways to nurture their families.

More than just a group, the Parents Community is a living example of how collective care can create lasting change — in homes, in classrooms, and in society.

Our Vision

"Becoming a community that inspires personal growth for parents and creates holistic education."

Our Missions

  • Emotional Support:
Creating an environment where parents can support each other emotionally, share experience, and support each other in the parenting journey
  • Information Exchange:
Become a platform for exchanging useful information related to child development, education, health, and other relevant issues
  • Parent Education:
Provide resource and information to assist parents in their development, both in terms of parenting skills and personal development, to be positive role models for their children
  • Educational Collaboration:
Encourage collaboration between parents, teachers, and school staff to improve the quality of education and support children growth.
  • Overcoming Common Challenges:
Become a forum to discuss and find solutions together to the challenges faced by parents, to create a harmonious family.

At The Lilliput World, we believe that raising a child is a shared journey between school and home. Our Parents Group Discussion (PGD) is created as a meaningful space where parents and educators come together to learn, reflect and grow alongside one another. Through guided discussions led by teachers, parents are encouraged to exchange experiences, gain new perspectives and explore topics related to child development, parenting and early childhood learning.

Each session becomes an opportunity for parents to share stories about their children’s growth, challenges and daily experiences at home, while teachers provide insights from classroom observations and learning practices at school. These conversations help strengthen the connection between home and school, creating a more consistent and nurturing environment for children.

PGD also highlights the importance of play in a child’s development. Parents gain a deeper understanding of how meaningful play supports social-emotional growth, cognitive development, creativity and physical wellbeing. By learning from one another’s experiences and understanding their children’s unique needs, parents are empowered with practical tools and confidence to become more mindful and supportive companions in their children’s learning journey.

More than just a discussion forum, PGD is a caring community where families support one another, build meaningful relationships and grow together for the wellbeing of every child.

At The Lilliput World, our Parents Community Events are thoughtfully designed to strengthen the connection between families, children, and the school community. These events create meaningful opportunities for parents to bond with their children, support one another, and actively participate in the learning journey beyond the classroom. Through shared experiences, we foster a warm and collaborative community where families grow together.

Throughout the year, families are invited to participate in meaningful community events such as Family Fun Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day. Family Fun Day is an annual celebration where parents, children, and teachers come together to play, learn, and create joyful memories as one community. For Mother’s Day, mothers are invited to take a meaningful pause through activities such as yoga and meditation, offering space for rest, reflection, and appreciation for the care they provide every day. Meanwhile, Father’s Day gives fathers the opportunity to step into their child’s school experience, allowing dads to bond with their children while experiencing firsthand how learning happens at The Lilliput World.

Beyond celebrations, our Parents Community also plays an important role in welcoming new families. Parents may volunteer to assist prospective families during The Lilliput World Open House, sharing firsthand experiences and answering questions from a parent’s perspective. This creates a welcoming and authentic space for future families to better understand life at The Lilliput World through genuine stories and shared experiences.

At The Lilliput World, we believe that a healthy and connected parent community plays an important role in supporting children’s wellbeing. Through our Parents Sports Club, parents are encouraged to stay active, recharge, and build meaningful friendships with fellow families in a fun and supportive environment.

The club offers a variety of activities tailored to different interests, including badminton sessions, group gym workouts, yoga classes, and pilates sessions for parents. These activities provide opportunities for parents (especially mothers) to prioritize self-care, improve physical wellbeing, and enjoy quality social interaction outside of daily responsibilities.

More than just exercise, the Parents Sports Club creates a sense of belonging where parents can connect, share experiences, and strengthen relationships within The Lilliput World community. By growing together as individuals and families, we create a healthier and more supportive environment for both parents and children.

At The Lilliput World, we believe that a child’s growth is best supported through a strong partnership between home and school. Our Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) provides a meaningful opportunity for parents and educators to come together and discuss each child’s developmental journey in a collaborative and supportive environment.

During PTM sessions, teachers share observations and progress updates related to the child’s academic, social, emotional, and practical life development, based on Montessori assessment and observation methods. Rather than focusing solely on outcomes, discussions highlight the child’s individual growth, strengths, interests, independence, confidence, and overall learning experience both in and outside the classroom.

Held during mid-semester and end-of-semester periods, PTM creates a safe and open space for parents to ask questions, reflect, and exchange insights with teachers. Together, parents and educators can better understand the child’s needs and discover meaningful ways to support their growth consistently at home and at school, helping every child thrive with confidence and joy in learning.
